Who writes GrailHawk guides
GrailHawk publishes buying guides for Pokémon cards and luxury watches, with a Canada-first lens on landed cost and trust. This page explains how those guides are written and what they are not.
What we cover
Commercial how-to and configuration guides that map to live money pages: card and watch reference pages, Canada hubs, and comparison pages. Topics include all-in cost, Authenticity Guarantee, grade matching, and how to read listings.
How we research
- Match exact card printings and watch references before comparing prices.
- Prefer sold comps over asking prices when explaining value.
- Use live eBay and Shopify dealer listings on product pages; guides link to those pages rather than inventing sticker prices.
- Call out trust signals (Authenticity Guarantee, full set, seller history) and risk signals (suspiciously low asks, vague photos).
- Date market notes so readers know the window we are describing.
What we do not do
- We do not authenticate watches or cards.
- We do not give tax, customs, legal, or investment advice. Duty and tax figures are planning estimates.
- We are not affiliated with Rolex, Omega, Cartier, Tudor, Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, PSA, BGS, CGC, eBay, or Shopify.
- We do not scrape Chrono24, WatchCharts, or eBay sold data for display without proper licenses.
How to use the product with these guides
Read a guide for the checklist, then open the linked reference or card page for live listings, Canada all-in toggles where available, and price alerts. Affiliate links may earn a commission; sponsored placements are labeled.
